Zavádění Me 262 do výzbroje Luftwaffe a řešení potíží s tím spojených, zejména nedostatek zkušených stíhacích pilotů, vedlo k unikátnímu projektu přeškolení pilotů zrušených Kampfgeschwader na stíhací piloty proudových strojů. V publikaci „Messerschmitt Me 262s of KG & KG(J) Units“ jsme se zabývali především koncem tohoto procesu, tj. stroji Me 262, na kterých se přeškolení piloti dostali do boje.
Nová publikace se bude věnovat začátku celého procesu, od podzimu 1944, kdy začalo reálné přeškolování personálu KG(J) 6 na českém území. Pokusíme se popsat důvody celé akce a zmapovat její průběh až ke konečnému nasazení útvaru do operačního nasazení v roce 1945. Hlavní pozornost bude věnována stěžejnímu typu použitému pro přeškolení – Messerschmittu Bf 109.

The difficulties connected with implementation of Me 262 into operational service especially the lack of experienced fighters resulted in a rare process of retraining pilots from disbanded Kampfgeschwaders to jet fighters. The end of the process – combat sorties of retrained pilots with Me 262s - is described in the title “Messerschmitt Me 262s of KG & KG(J) Units”.
The new title will deal with initial phase when retraining of KG(J) 6 personnel started in Czech area during autumn 1944. We would try to describe the reasons and the course of this action till the final operational sorties in 1945. The main attention will be dedicated to the main machine used for the training - Messerschmitt Bf 109.
